Arts & Culture in University City
Much of University City's cultural calendar runs through UNC Charlotte, supplemented by community events organized by local groups and University City Partners. Uptown's museums and theaters are reachable on the Blue Line.
On campus
Student and faculty performances, gallery shows, and lectures are the most consistent source of arts programming in the area. Check the College of Arts + Architecture and university events calendars.
Community events
University City Partners promotes area events and programs. When we can verify a specific upcoming event with an official source, we add it to our events page.
Beyond University City
For larger venues, the Blue Line connects to NoDa's galleries and Uptown's cultural district. Check event times against CATS service hours for the ride home.
